Brooklyn native Brian Bonz recently came across the success story of Law Student, Matthew Ahn, who made his way into the Guinness Book World Record for riding the entire NYC subway line in the fastest time clocking in at 21 hours 49 min 35 sec on January 16, 2015.
However this time Bonz will be raising the bar by traveling throughout all five boroughs not only attempting to beat Matthew’s record but also creating an EP with a small midi controller using Ableton Live and of course packing some of Brooklyn’s finest sandwiches. He is also connecting with a team to work on a special Hamiltonian Circuit route to use int he city.
“I think I can beat Matthew, I know where all the steps are and short cuts in most stations. I really respect Matthew and wish to meet him one day for a cup of coffee and a hot dog” - Bonz at local bagel store.
Bonz will be training the remainder of the year since he is slightly overweight while playing shows throughout the US. We will keep you posted when he launches this stunt with his team and film it.
